General participation does not require a particular discipline. More specialised think-tank work draws on knowledge and practice in the humanities, sciences, engineering, futures studies or creative fields.
More important than a discipline alone is the ability to observe, remain open and think clearly.

Is Chitta only for researchers?
No. The Chitta model includes the general public, developing practitioners and experienced professionals. You can begin with everyday observation and learning.
Is a pathway the same as a professional level?
No. Receiver, Refiner and Contributor describe how you participate. Your professional background provides context, but does not determine your value or confine you to one pathway.
Can I change pathways?
The pathways describe a developing practice. Tell the Chitta team what you are interested in now and how you would like to grow.
What happens after an application?
The Chitta team reviews your introduction and contacts you about an appropriate next step. Sending an application is not automatic acceptance.
