A ONE-MINUTE OBSERVATION
Let your breathing stay natural. Look around. Notice one detail you had not seen before. There is nothing to achieve.
A quiet pause, at your own pace.
THREE SMALL PRACTICES
Choose an everyday object. Describe what is present before interpreting what it means.
Give yourself a minute. Name three details you can directly see or hear. Then notice the interpretations you add to them. The purpose is to recognise the difference between observation and the story around it.
Take a familiar belief. Ask what supports it, what challenges it and what you do not yet know.
Write one belief and the reasons you hold it. Note one piece of evidence that could change your mind. You do not need to abandon the belief; make the reasoning more visible.
Recall a decision. Separate what happened from the story you told yourself about it.
Describe an everyday decision in three parts: what happened, what you thought it meant and what you chose. Consider whether a different interpretation would have changed your response.
