- Title & type
- A specific title and the pathway that best describes the work.
- Central contribution
- The idea, question or experience in plain language. State what is yours and what you draw from others.
- Context
- Where the question came from, who it concerns and the conditions that matter.
- Sources & limits
- Traceable sources beside factual claims. Say when a statement is an interpretation, an observation or still unsupported.
- Connections
- Related Chitta topics with a sentence explaining each relationship.
- Authorship & permissions
- How the author wishes to be credited, collaborators, material AI assistance, relevant interests and permission to share included work.
- Open question
- What could challenge, extend or clarify the contribution?
PROPOSED EDITORIAL PROCESS
From proposal to a publication decision.
Introduce
Prepare the contribution and its context. An enquiry is not publication or ownership registration.
Check the scope
A designated editor would check relevance, completeness, permissions and whether further expertise is needed.
Refine together
Questions and requested revisions would be shared with the author. Changes should remain visible and agreed.
Decide
The outcome may be a request for revision, a decline or agreement to publish. Acceptance must never be implied by submission.
Maintain
If published, the record should show its publication state and material corrections. Permanent identifiers require a functioning registry.
